PROFESSIONAL TV MOUNTING
DC, MD & VA
From concrete condo walls to fireplace mantels, 5 Star Pros mounts TVs safely and cleanly across the DMV. We find the studs, set the correct height, conceal every wire, and leave no exposed cables or crooked brackets behind.
PROFESSIONAL TV MOUNTING
IN THE DMV AREA
TV mounting sounds simple until you're staring at a concrete wall in a Capitol Hill rowhouse, or trying to figure out whether those studs are actually where the stud finder says they are in a 1970s construction condo in Bethesda. The DMV has one of the most diverse mixes of wall construction in the country — from poured concrete in modern high-rises to plaster over wood lath in 100-year-old DC row homes, to standard drywall over steel studs in newer townhouses. Getting a TV anchor wrong means a falling TV, a damaged wall, and potentially a very bad day. Professional mounting is worth it.
When 5 Star Pros mounts a TV, we start by identifying exactly what's in your wall. We use electronic stud finders, magnetic stud detection, and physical probing where needed to locate real structural anchor points before drilling a single hole. The mount is always secured into studs or masonry anchors rated well above your TV's weight. We set the height at the correct ergonomic viewing angle for your seating position — not guessed, but measured. And every cable — power, HDMI, streaming box wires — is routed in-wall or through a clean surface raceway so the installation looks like it belongs in the room.
We mount TVs every week across the DMV — in apartments in Arlington and Alexandria, condos in Adams Morgan and Columbia Heights, single-family homes in Rockville and Silver Spring, and rental properties throughout Prince George's County. Whether it's a 40-inch bedroom TV or an 85-inch living room centerpiece above a fireplace, we have the tools and experience to do it right the first time.

OUR PROCESS
We identify the ideal viewing height based on your seating position, locate the wall construction type, and confirm the mounting approach — stud mount, masonry anchor, or toggle bolts — before touching the wall.
We use electronic stud finders and physical verification to locate real structural points. For concrete and masonry walls, we mark and drill anchor positions with the correct masonry bit and hammer drill.
The bracket is mounted securely and checked for level before the TV goes on. We attach the TV, verify the connection is secure, and adjust the mount angle for the correct viewing position.
We only wrap up when you're 100% satisfied with every detail. All cables are routed, the TV is powered on and tested, and the space is cleaned before we leave.
